Social Threader Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Social Threader handles information in the Android application and at threader.mprlab.com.

App and publisher identity

This policy applies to Social Threader, including the Android app with package name com.mprlab.socialthreader and the website at threader.mprlab.com.

Social Threader is published on Google Play by Vadym Tyemirov. Marco Polo Research Lab LLC operates and maintains the app and website. In this policy, “Social Threader,” “we,” and “our” refer to this app, its publisher, and Marco Polo Research Lab LLC.

Information handled by the Android app

The Android app processes draft text and images on your device. It uses this content to calculate statistics, split a draft into chunks, and show the ordered result. The app does not send this content to Marco Polo Research Lab LLC servers.

The app accesses an image only after you select it through the system image picker. It sends a selected chunk to the Android clipboard or share sheet only after you choose the related action. The operating system and any destination app control information after you copy or share it.

The current Android app has no account sign-in, advertising, analytics SDK, background location access, contact access, or automatic social-network posting.

Information handled by the website

Standard thread splitting occurs in your browser. Draft text and images remain in the browser unless you use an optional service described below.

Optional AI editing

The website offers optional AI editing to signed-in users. When you select an AI editing action, the website sends the current plain-text draft to the Social Threader API. The API sends the text to contracted model service providers to produce the requested result. The feature does not accept images.

Social Threader does not persist source text or transformed text. Application logs exclude draft text, prompts, credentials, and provider response bodies. Content-free operational records can include a request identifier, an irreversible user key, operation type, template version, content sizes, duration, and outcome.

Authentication

The optional AI service uses Google sign-in and the MPR Lab TAuth service. These services handle account identifiers, authentication results, and session cookies to authenticate users and protect the AI service. Social Threader does not read a Google password.

Analytics and feedback

The website uses Google Analytics and LoopAware to measure page use and service performance. These services can process an IP address, browser and device information, page and referral data, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interaction events. Social Threader does not send draft text or transformed text to these analytics services.

If you submit the feedback form, Formspree processes the email address, message, and related technical information that you send.

How we use information

  • Provide and secure Social Threader features.
  • Authenticate users who request optional AI editing.
  • Return an AI edit that a signed-in user requests.
  • Measure reliability and improve the app and website.
  • Respond to feedback, support requests, and legal requests.
  • Prevent misuse and comply with applicable law.

When information is shared

We use service providers to operate authentication, AI editing, analytics, content delivery, and feedback. These providers process information for the service that you use. They include Google, TAuth infrastructure, contracted model providers, LoopAware, jsDelivr, and Formspree.

We can disclose information when applicable law requires it, or when disclosure protects users, our services, or legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

The Android app does not upload or retain drafts on our servers. Standard website splitting also does not upload drafts. The optional AI service does not persist source or transformed text in the Social Threader application.

We keep authentication, content-free operational, feedback, and security records only as long as necessary for service operation, support, security, and legal obligations. Service providers can keep information under their own retention policies.

To request access to or deletion of information associated with you, email legal@mprlab.com. Include enough information for us to locate and verify the request. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Your choices

  • Use local thread splitting without website sign-in.
  • Choose whether to use optional AI editing.
  • Choose whether to select, copy, or share app content.
  • Control website cookies through browser settings.
  • Send a privacy request to legal@mprlab.com.

Security and children

We use administrative and technical controls designed to protect information. No system can guarantee complete security.

Social Threader is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when required.

Policy changes and contact

We can update this policy when Social Threader or applicable law changes. We will publish the new effective date on this page.
